OUR COMPANY HISTORY

1983

Founded

Priority Mechanical is established in Illinois, focusing on residential HVAC and restaurant refrigeration services with a commitment to quality and dependability.

1990

Rebrand & Expansion

Priority Mechanical becomes Priority Group, expanding into electrical contracting to offer integrated MEP solutions.

1994

Out-of-State Growth

Priority Group completes multi-state projects in Missouri, Florida, New York, and California, completing projects for loyal clients.

1997

Telecom Introduction

The company is introduced to wireless telecommunications, designing and constructing climate-controlled shelters for network equipment.

1999

Telecom Division Launched

Priority Group officially forms a Telecommunications Division, dedicated to wireless infrastructure and tower-related construction.

2000

Warehouse Expansion – Elk Grove Village, IL

Moves into a 4,000 sq ft warehouse to support growth in field operations, prefabrication, and equipment management.

2001

Regional Office – Elgin, IL

Expands administrative and operational capacity with a second office in Elgin, IL.

2005

In-House Engineering Division

Priority establishes a fully integrated engineering team, offering mechanical, electrical, and structural design services under one roof.

2009

Southwest & West Coast Expansion – Phoenix, AZ & Reno, NV

Priority Group establishes a satellite office in Phoenix and opens regional warehouses in Phoenix and Reno, creating a robust operational base to serve the Southwest and West Coast.

2011

Industrial Sector Expansion

Priority Group enters the industrial market, delivering large-scale MEP systems for plants, warehouses, and energy-intensive facilities.

2013

Facility Maintenance Division

Expands into long-term service contracts, offering preventative maintenance and rapid-response repairs for commercial and telecom clients nationwide.

2021

Expanding Footprint

Priority Group strategically expands its national infrastructure with the addition of regional warehouses and satellite offices. Each facility is designed to strengthen operations while improving speed, service coverage, and disaster response capabilities—particularly in storm-prone areas like the Gulf Coast.
